My name is Julia. I am an average human. I've been an actor for a longish time. That's really long in dog years. I have tried to quit this business a handful of times because I thought it would be a more responsible choice in my pursuit of adulting. But every time I tried to do that, I'd somehow land a gig, so my team shoves me back into the ring. I love them for that, and I love this business. Now I'm too old to quit and too smart to live in regret. So here I am.
I love and appreciate other humans by virtue of the fact that we are created equal and are equally valuable and loved. I am an introvert. I dislike politics, oppression, and egos. I avoid cliques. I believe justice can be served without hate, and with kindness and humility. I believe we are free to choose, but that we are not free from the consequences of our choices. I believe that our choices describe, but do not define who we are. I believe that anyone can change for the better, but that not everyone will choose to do so; I believe that fear is the reason for that.
I believe that love always wins, and it will win in the end. And this is the thing that keeps my head up in this crazy world we live in. I hope that I can somehow magnify the Hope of Love through my very flawed life and in my work, as they are all inseparable to me.
There's probably more but that's all I've got right now. Maybe we'll talk some time. 'Til then.
